The assail on reason and on science by the USA's institutions is an ongoing one. The American judicary is particularly pernicious in advancing the war being waged against reason on behalf of the make-believe (god).

In 2009 a California judge, James Selna, made a finding against a science teacher who refused to teach "creationism". Selna's WTF claim was that this constitutes "hostility to religion" which is contrary to the USA's "establishment clause of the First Ammendment" (below).
